Using the NER Website and Membership

The NER Website has been designed to work with:

  • Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or 7.0 under Windows and
  • Firefox under Windows, Linux and Macintosh. 

Support for other browsers is not provided.

The site requires Java Script - if you have JavaScript disabled on your Browser, some functions will not operate correctly.

If you have any issues accessing the site or submitting forms to the site, please check the following before asking for support:

  1. Is your Internet connection working? Go to www.smh.com.au to check if you can access the Internet.

  2. Check that you can access http://www.removalsinsurance.com.au and http://www.pocruises.com.au - these sites are hosted on the same facility (as provided by 3rdmill).  If any of these 2 sites are not functioning, try to use the NER site again in a couple of hours as it appears that there is an outage somewhere on the Internet. 

    {We not that the facility provides 99.99% uptime on average, but from time to time, routing issues between ISPs and other localised issues might prevent some users from accessing the site}

  3. If you can access the site, but can't submit Forms, please check that JAVA SCRIPT is enabled on your browser.

    (refer to the Help on your browser for how to turn Java Script support on).  

  4. You might also need to add *.ner.org.au to your list of safe sites.
